Event Sponsorship

The City of Fremantle is dedicated to fostering a vibrant, socially connected, and economically prosperous community. Our goal is to support initiatives that enhance Fremantle’s unique cultural identity, promote inclusivity, and drive sustainable growth. Through event sponsorship, we aim to create opportunities that enrich community life, celebrate diversity, and position Fremantle as a premier destination for both residents and visitors.

The Event Sponsorship Program seeks to attract and support programs, activities, events and activations which: 

• Deliver a community or social outcome that aligns with the City’s strategic community plan.
• Drive significant visitation to Fremantle or contribute significant benefit to the Fremantle community.
• Align with Fremantle’s sustainable goals, including promoting sustainability, supporting innovation & creativity, and ensuring accessibility and inclusion.

Funding is provided in the form of sponsorship only and requests may be for cash sponsorship, in-kind sponsorship, or a combination of both.

To apply for event sponsorship:

1. Read the Event Sponsorship Guidelines 2024-25 Prospectus and our Grants and Sponsorship Policy
2. If you event is a commercial, large or major event, please reach out to the events team to discuss your application.
3. Put in an application for your event using the event application form.
4. Complete the event sponsorship application form.
